Mr. Perret has been invited in several occasions to act as Professor in Real Estate related topics, at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Universidad Metropolitana and the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas; as well as Speaker in Construction and Real Estate events.
Over the years, Mr. Perret has been a member of the board of directors of several construction, ready-mix concrete, financial, and insurance companies. He has been president of the Interamerican Construction Federation, the Venezuelan Construction Chamber and of the Venezuelan Construction Exporters Association
Alberto Perret-Gentil
Mr. Perret is member of the Board of Directors of insurance, savings and loans, and real estate development companies. He was vice president of Finance and Planning of Seguros Orinoco (later named Seguros Mercantil), a large Venezuelan insurance company being in charge of the administration, financial and investment areas of the company as well as the special projects unit responsible for the mergers and reengineering projects.
In addition, he was the manager of a Venezuelan construction company, called Guayana Branch of Edificaciones, C.A., and was later in charge of financial evaluations of diverse real estate projects. Over the years, Mr. Perret Gentil has gained broad experience as Construction Manager and as Site Engineer in complex constructions projects.
